Telemedicine
With Telemedicine, you can book a video consultation with a Swiss veterinarian. This allows you to conveniently discuss questions and concerns about your pet from home.
Important: Telemedicine is not suitable for emergencies. In an emergency, please contact a local veterinary practice or animal hospital directly.
Open Telemedicine
You can access Telemedicine in two ways:
Via the Dashboard: Scroll to “For you & your pet” and tap “Telemedicine”.

Via the pet profile: Open the desired pet profile, tap “Health” and select “Telemedicine” under “Tracking”.

Then tap “Book video meeting” to start a new request.

Book a video meeting
The booking process guides you step by step through all the required information:
- Select a date: Choose the day on which you would like to speak with a veterinarian.

- Select a time: Choose your preferred time for the video meeting.

- Describe your pet’s symptoms: Describe as accurately as possible why you need veterinary advice. For example, mention the symptoms you have observed, how long they have been present and whether your pet’s behaviour has changed.

- Review your information: Before booking, you will see a summary of your pet, the date and time, and your description. Tap the pencil icon to make changes to individual details.
- Set a reminder: If you wish, activate a reminder for your upcoming video meeting.
- Tap “Book video meeting” to submit your request.

Once your booking has been successfully submitted, you can find the video meeting in your Calendar.

Check your booking status
Under “Upcoming meetings”, you can find your booked video meetings and view their current status.

Immediately after submitting your request, the meeting may initially be shown as “Not yet confirmed”. Once the booking has been confirmed, the status changes to “Booking confirmed”.

Edit or cancel a video meeting
If you would like to change or cancel an upcoming meeting:
- Open your upcoming meetings.
- Tap the three-dot icon next to the relevant appointment.
- Select “Edit video meeting” to make changes to the booking or “Delete video meeting” to remove it.

Before the video meeting
Make sure your pet is nearby during the video meeting. This allows the veterinarian to examine your pet via the camera if necessary.
Costs: A video meeting costs CHF 55 for the first 15 minutes. After that, CHF 15 is charged for each additional 5 minutes. If you do not attend a booked meeting, a fee will still be charged.
